This kit once built allows you to monitor the entire aircraft band without tuning. This is done by using a passive design which means that it does not have any local oscillators, thus it can be used on aircraft without generating any interference to the pilot etc.. Its great for airshows, just listen to the air traffic, even to unknown frequencies. Multiple aircraft signals can be heard simultaneously with the strongest one the loudest which invariably will be the closest one to you. All without any tuning or looking up frequencies. The receiver is in a compact case complete with a belt clip. Just plug in the provided earbuds or your favourite pair of headhones into the receiver.
