The 6m Discovery-Six linear amplifier uses a GS-31 valve. The unit has its own self contained AC mains power supply which is fully protected. The amplifier is fan cooled. The output of the amplifier is a PI-L network. Full metering of Plate input and Grid current is provided on the front panel along with LED status lights. A 3 min timer is incorporated to give a delay on switch-on to ensure that the valve cathode is thoroughly warmed up.
