DR-635E * NEW * Alinco 2m/70cm FM Dual Band Mobile Transceiver
The DR-635E is the latest VHF/UHF FM mobile transceiver from Alinco.
This transceiver is capable of normal or narrow band FM as well as packet operation with the optional internal packet module EJ-50U.
The transceiver is housed in a sturdy metallic black case with integral ribbed fins for dissipating heat.
A new protection circuit is designed to automatically lower the power setting to Mid power range if heat rises whilst operating in the high power setting.
The controls are all situated at the front panel, some of the buttons have dual function.
The control head can be removed and placed at a remote location in the vehicle with a suitable separation cable. An anti-theft alarm system with ignition-key on/off is another feature on this model.
At the rear is situated the power lead with fuse holder and VHF/UHF antenna socket. When fitted with the optional EJ-50 this provides a DSUB9 port for connecting a computer. Also provided is an external power jack and external speaker connection. Note: Does not c/w DTMF mic. |
