The LX-8Y offers a headband with earpiece and a locking PTT. This means that apart from momentarily operating the PTT, your hands will be permanently on the wheel of the vehicle. The unit is fitted with the standard 2-pin connector which matches all the popular handheld transceivers plus there is a version for the Kenwood range.
