New Heil speakers are in an acoustically tuned chamber for the best sound. Plus a speaker reversal switch, that either places the signal in the centre of your head or creates a spatial widening sound field. The speakers in the PRO-SET PLUS are 200 Ohms, they will require 4 to 5dB more drive than entertainment type headphones. They nicely roll off the top end with the -3dB point at 8kHz, thus reducing the hiss and noise of amateur radio receivers. The microphone boom contains dual mic elements using the famous Heil HC-4 and HC-5 inserts for either DX audio that cuts through the noise or for articulate speech audio ideal for ragchewing.

The headset also the ultimate in comfort, has the ability to be shaped to your head. A series of AD-1 mic adapters are available for use with different rigs.
