Frequency range: DAB Band III (174 - 240 MHz) and L-Band (1452 - 1490 MHz), FM 87.5 -108 MHz, AM 531 - 1602 kHz.

Integrated DAC: 24-bit 192 kHz stereo DAC (DAB only).

Input connectors: RF F-connector 75 Ohm for DAB aerial, FM aerial, spring clips for AM loop (aerials supplied). Dual phono for auxiliary line level audio input (from CD player or similar) with auto pass-through to output at standby or power off.

Output connectors: Dual phono for stereo analogue audio output. Optical Toslink connector for DAB digital S/PDIF output (IEC958 @ 48 kHz), Coaxial connector for DAB digital S/PDIF output (IEC958 @ 48 kHz), Optical connector for DAB digital RDI output. USB connector for future software upgrades. ¼" headphone socket on front panel.

Controls: Power on/off, autotune, brightness, display, setup and band buttons. Rotary selection switch. LED indicators: Front panel indicators for power-on, DAB/FM/AM mode, standby mode, remote control, stereo service and secondary service.

DAB performance: Frequency response (limited by broadcast - DAC capable of higher responses) of 20 Hz to 20 kHz for 48 kHz decode; 20 Hz to 12 kHz for 24 kHz low sample frequency (LSF) decode. Less than 0.002% THD at 1 kHz. S/N ratio of 103 dB.

FM performance: Sensitivity @ 30 dB SNR: mono 2.5 µV, stereo 13 µV. THD+N: mono 0.2%, stereo 0.3%. SNR: mono 74 dB, stereo 68 dB (all measured at 1 kHz). Remote control: Infrared remote control functions include: power on/standby, station select, volume (analogue output only), mute, store and recall of 99 presets, autotune, LCD display mode, setup, band selection and 8 levels of LCD display brightness (including off).

Power supply: High-performance, low noise internal toroidal transformer power supply. 230V AC 50 Hz.

Optional balanced outputs: Neutrik metal-bodied XLR connectors with hard gold-plated pins. Burr-Brown balanced output devices. Available pre-fitted or as a return-to-base upgrade.

Approvals: CE marked. Compliant with the EMC and Low Voltage Directives (89/336/EEC and 73/23/EEC).
