The new improved MFJ-989D with 1500W handling now uses the new 500pf air variable capacitors and new low loss roller inductor. It will continuously tune all frequenciesn from 1.8 through 30MHz and match dipoles, inverted vees, verticals, mobile whips, beams and random wires. It even has a built-in 300W dummy load. The new TrueActive peak reading Cross needle SWR/Power meter lets you read true power on all modes. The antenna switch selector is ceramic and the matcher will cope with coax, balanced feed and long wires.
