The Enhanced SignaLink is designed to work with the radio's Mic and external speaker jacks (as does the SL-1) but works with the Data and Accessory Ports as well. The advantage of this is that most users can attach the SignaLink SL-1+ to the back of the radio and keep the microphone plugged in. The SignaLink SL-1+ has a fixed short delay for all Data modes, and a variable long delay for all Voice modes (EchoLink, Voice Keyer etc.). It has fully adjustable Transmit and Receiver Audio levels and the sensitivity of Auto-PTT circuit has been improved. This provides optimum performance on voice modes, and compatibility with computers that have sub-standard output levels. We sell four versions of the enhanced model the SL-1+8R with 8-pin round mic. connector, the SL-1+RJ45 with RJ-45 mic. connector, the SL-1+RJ11 with RJ-11 mic. connector and the SL-1+6PMD with 6-pin mini Din Data Port connector. As power requirements for the SignaLink are small (6.75 -15V 10mA) it is possible to obtain the power through the rigs microphone socket.

A separate accessory pack is available which includes audio and PC connection leads.
