The SignaLink is unique as it does not require the use of a com port to trigger the PTT on the rig when transmitting images, which leaves the com port free for other tasks i.e. rig control etc.

Another advantage is that the SignaLink has internal links which makes it compatible with most of the rigs on the market. Connection is through an external

8-pin or modular plug to the rig. We sell three versions the SL1-8R with 8-pin round mic. connector, the SL1-RJ45 with RJ-45 mic. connector and the SL1-RJ11 with RJ-11 mic. connector. As power requirements for the SignaLink are small (6.75 -15V 10mA) it is possible to obtain the power through the rigs microphone socket.

A separate accessory pack is available which includes audio and PC connection leads. The unit is very much smaller than many of the other units on offer, fully isolated and is extremely well made - and best of all about half the price.
