The optional UT-118 allows you to add data communication features. This allows you to communicate with other digitally enhanced IC-2200H and IC-V82 VHF handheld units.

The UT-118 provides digitally modulated and demodulated clear audio. It also allows you to send voice and data simultaneosly.
