This is a portable style scanning antenna for VHF and UHF reception. The 1m long vertical antenna element rolls up for easy stowage. At the element base is a matching section with 4m coax lead terminated in BNC plug. The unit can be easily hung indoors or in the loft. For outdoor use additional waterproofing is necessary - details given. The coaxial lead may also easily be extended for outside operation.
