The Ameritron RCS-4X 4-way Remote Coax Switch (SO-239) is a remote-controlled coax switch designed to select one of four outputs using control voltages supplied through the coaxial cable. This setup allows for a quick, tidy, and cost-effective installation, with just one coaxial line needed to connect up to four antennas.

Consisting of two units, the Ameritron RCS-4X includes a switching box mounted on a tower, mast, or wall and a control console placed at the operating station. The control console features bright LED antenna selector indicators for easy use. The steel enclosure of the switching box provides complete shielding to prevent radio frequency interference (RFI) and television interference (TVI), ensuring reliable connections with SO-239 connectors and a switching time of 50ms.

Operating at 240 VAC power source with 14 volts control voltage, the RCS-4X covers frequencies from 1.8 through 30 MHz, handling up to 1500 watts of continuous power. With four antenna positions, low loss at 30 MHz (less than 0.05dB), excellent VSWR of 1.1:1 from 1.8 to 30 MHz, and impedance of 50 Ohms, this station accessory boasts quality components and durable construction for long-lasting performance.
