The Arrow II 146/437-10WBP Handheld Portable Satellite Antenna is designed to offer maximum gain and efficiency while maintaining a compact and lightweight size. Weighing only about 19 oz (with an additional 1 oz for the split boom), this antenna utilizes aluminium arrow shafts for its elements. The antenna features two pre-assembled and pre-tuned gamma matches, with one connector for VHF and one for UHF, both using female BNC. The boom measures 3/4" square with rounded corners and is 37 1/2" long. For the BP Split Boom model, the longest part is less than 22 inches in length. The antenna is equipped with a big black foam grip for comfortable holding, and the boom is drilled and tapped with a 1/4-20 hole for camera tripods. Plastic tips are present on both the boom and elements for safety. It is important to note that the foam handle grip can be removed without tearing it. When using the antenna handheld, it is recommended to keep the power below 10 watts. However, if the antenna is mounted and away from people, the maximum power can be increased to 150 watts.
