The Diamond MC-100 is a magnetic base antenna designed for the VHF range from 136-174 MHz. Tuning the antenna is done by shortening the radiator, with a provided shortening table for assistance. With careful tuning, an SWR of better than 1.5:1 is easily attainable.

With a strong magnetic base approximately 6cm in diameter, the MC-100 securely attaches to the car roof even at higher speeds. When tuned to 136 MHz, the radiator can reach a maximum length of 52 cm. Weighing 450 g, the antenna supports a maximum transmitting power of 70W. It comes with a 4m RG-58 coax cable and a PL plug for a radio connection.

The Diamond MC-100 supports the 2m band and is documented in English. Its reliable performance and ease of tuning make it a practical choice for VHF communication within the specified frequency range.
