The antenna operates within the frequency range of 143-147 MHz and has an impedance of 50 Ohm. It can be adjusted with a range match and has a standing wave ratio (S.W.R.) of 1.1 at the centre frequency. The maximum power it can handle is 200 W. The antenna can be polarized vertically or horizontally and consists of 3 elements. The boom dimensions are 30 x 30 x 1000 mm, with tubes measuring 20 x 1 mm and 14 x 1 mm. The antenna weighs 1.4 Kg and is made of anticorodal aluminium. It has a front-to-back ratio of 17 dB and a relative gain of 7 dB. The connector used is N, with plastic protection.
