High-performance CB antenna kits come equipped with a three or 4-foot antenna and a 3-way mounting bracket, offering versatility in mounting options. The 550 cm (18 feet) Fire-Flex cable ensures reliable connectivity with two screw-on PL-259 connections. Remember, all antennas must be tuned post-installation for optimal performance.

These antennas feature a 93 cm (3 feet) whip length, operate as a 5/8 wave top-loaded antenna, and are compatible with all CB radios. They cover AM, FM, and SSB Citizen Band Radio frequencies and boast an average tuned SWR of 1.5 to 1. Suitable for single or dual installations, they work seamlessly with Fire-Flex Coax and 3/8 Inch x 24 Heavy Duty Threaded Bases.

Ground-plane-dependent antennas necessitate a metallic counterpoise for proper functionality and are unsuitable for non-metallic vehicles. Testing and tuning these antennas across the radio's operating frequency when used with a transmitter is crucial to prevent damage. Mounting brackets and antenna stud mounts must be grounded to a chassis ground point, ensuring effective performance.
