The new Gold Elite microphone is tailored for amateur radio communications, featuring two high-performance dynamic elements that can be easily switched between. In the WIDE position, the HEIL Elite full range element delivers articulate 60Hz - 16 kHz audio with a +4 dB peak at 2 kHz, ensuring clear voice articulation and a balanced SSB signal. On the other hand, the NARROW position showcases the new HC-5.1 dynamic element, designed to cater to older rigs and modern transceivers with onboard DSP EQ, offering full-range broadcast audio and tailored DX/Contest audio with simple EQ adjustments.

Equipped with a 'soft touch' PTT switch wired for transmitting control and utilizing pins 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the 4-pin XLR connection, the Gold Elite microphone is compatible with HEIL CC-1 Connecting Cables. Additionally, it comes with a foam windscreen and a 5/8" - 27 microphone clip suitable for booms and desk stands.
