The HF-2V Butternut 2-Band HF Vertical antenna is designed to operate efficiently on 80 and 40 meters. With a total length of 9.85 meters (32 feet), this vertical antenna ensures maximum performance on both bands. It is rated at 1.0kW pep power on both 80 and 40 meters, with a feed point impedance of 50 Ohms for optimal signal transmission.

Featuring a convenient pigtail connection at the base, the HF-2V Butternut antenna can be easily mounted unguled using the included 61cm mounting tube. It is compatible with a standard TV antenna mast, making installation hassle-free. Adjusting the resonator coils for minimum SWR is simple, enhancing the antenna's performance for LF DX work.

This antenna boasts a VSWR of <1.5:1 across all bands, ensuring minimal signal loss. With a wind survival rating of 96kph when mounted unguled, the HF-2V Butternut antenna is reliable in various weather conditions. Ideal for DX paths, its low-angle radiation provides impressive performance, although a proper earth connection is recommended for optimal results.
