Hy-Gain has reintroduced the legendary full-size 5/8 Wave 10/12-meter vertical antenna from the 70s. This antenna boasts a full-size radiator that concentrates power closer to the ground, measuring 22 feet, and 9.5 inches. The heavy wall ply-tubular construction and larger diameter of the Super-Penetrator antenna make it the top omnidirectional choice. With four full-length radials and special machine-formed brackets, it offers enhanced talk power and overall strength.

The new Super-Penetrator antenna by Hy-Gain sets a new standard in electrical performance. Featuring a longer radiator and double-matching tuning with linear phasing techniques, it ensures low SWR and increased radiated energy. The double-matching design not only enhances performance but also provides a DC path to the ground for draining off precipitation static, resulting in an antenna with minimal noise. Specifically designed to accept AM, FM, SSB, and DSB signals with low loss, this antenna can handle up to 1.5 kilowatts of power. However, it's important to note that this antenna is not legal for 11 Meters use.
