The Icom ah 8000 is a multi-purpose discone antenna that receives solid from 100 to 3300 MHz. It can also be used to transmit on 144, 430, 1200, and 2400 MHz ham bands (under 200 watts). The discone design offers the best performance possible in an Omnidirectional antenna. The Icom ah-8000 discone has a preassembled 49-foot cable with an n connector at each end. This antenna is only 3 feet (936 mm) high and attaches to any standard mast from 1-2.05 inches with two supplied u-bolts. The mast shown is not supplied. Weight is 2.1 lbs (970g). Ideal with Icom ic-r2500, ic-pcr1500, ic-pcr2500, and other wideband scanners.
