The IC-M510E Marine VHF/DSC Radio now comes in an AIS Receiver version, allowing users to receive real-time AIS vessel traffic information and make individual DSC calls to selected boats. With the RS-M500 app, up to three smartphones can control the radio via WLAN, serving as wireless microphones or remote controllers. The smartphone-radio intercom function is also available for added convenience.

Featuring a slim and stylish design, the IC-M510E is suitable for panel or trunnion mounting. Its wide viewing angle colour TFT LCD display provides high-resolution characters and function icons with a nearly 180-degree viewing angle. The navigation function can guide users to specified waypoints or AIS targets, with the ability to assign up to 100 destinations as waypoints.

The IC-M510E ensures clear and loud audio with its internal speaker and waterproof speaker for superior sound quality. It offers connectivity options with the optional CT-M500 wireless interface box for NMEA 2000 and Hailer/PA features. Additionally, the radio supports NMEA 0183/-HS connectivity, an integrated GNSS receiver, IP68 waterproofing, an automatic foghorn function, and an optional voice scrambler for enhanced functionality.
