Icom has introduced the HM-249, a hands-free kit tailored for vehicle operation with selected Icom mobile radios. This kit includes a main PTT button with an RJ-45 modular connector, a remote PTT button, and a microphone. Installation is user-friendly, with each PTT and microphone featuring a 3 M-type seal for easy attachment. The large PTT switch button also includes a screw hole for secure placement.

The HM-249 boasts several key features, including a small PTT button with a 2.5m connection cable for convenient placement near the steering wheel or gear stick. Additionally, the microphone comes with a 2.5m connection cable for easy attachment to the car sun visor or other desired locations. The large PTT switch button has an LED that lights up during transmission and an RJ-45-type modular microphone connector for seamless integration with the mobile radio microphone jack.
