The device's IPx7 class environmental protection ensures it is protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Its slim yet rugged MIL Spec. build provides durability in harsh environments. The sturdy rotary belt clip, with a metal base, offers secure attachment options for users on the go.

Equipped with a waterproof 9-pin "multi-connector," the device boasts advanced GPS features. It has a remarkable -156dBm tracking sensitivity (-141dBm for cold acquisition) and provides 1.0m accuracy for CEP50 (1.2m for CEP95). Users can quickly access GPS functionalities with less than 4 seconds for a "hot" start-up (40 seconds for a cold start).

The device operates with a current consumption of 53 to 60mA during tracking (max. 70mA at 3.3V) and is NMEA 0183 compatible ($GPRMC etc.). It can transmit the last known good position data even when the GPS signal is lost, indicating it as "invalid." With a temperature range of -30C to +60C, it is designed to withstand various environmental conditions and is compatible with BIIS1200 GPS-related functions.
