The Icom SP-23 Base Station Speaker is versatile for IC-7800, IC-756PROIII, IC-9100, and IC-7400 radios. It comes with built-in High- and Low-Pass Filters to enhance audio quality. The speaker has a rated input power of 2W, a maximum input power of 4W, and an impedance of 8 Ohm. Measuring 145 x 111 x 282.5mm and weighing approximately 1.65kg, it is compact and lightweight. It also features a headphone jack, a speaker cable, and a filter cut-off frequency seal.

The Icom SP-23, equipped with High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters, offers precise audio customization. High-pass Filter 1 cuts off audio output frequencies of 300 Hz or less, while High-Pass Filter 2 cuts off 600 Hz or less. On the other hand, Low-Pass Filter 1 cuts off frequencies of 2.4kHz or more, and Low-Pass Filter 2 cuts off frequencies of 800Hz or more. With these filters, users can tailor the audio output to their preferences.

Moreover, the Icom SP-23 Base Station Speaker is designed for convenience with two audio input jacks that allow the connection of two transceivers or receivers. Its dimensions are similar in height and depth to the IC-756 PRO3, making it a suitable companion for various radio models.
