Kenwood is offering the TS-480HX, a 200-watt high-power transceiver designed for DX'ing. This compact yet powerful transceiver operates at 200W with a DC 13.8V supply and includes a separate control panel suitable for base station use. Additionally, Kenwood provides the TS-480SAT model, which features a built-in antenna tuner and shares similar powerful features with the TS-480HX.
The TS-480HX boasts TX/RX AF DSP for noise reduction and AF filters, continuous RX from 500kHz to 60MHz, and coverage of all amateur bands from 1.8MHz to 50MHz. It also includes twin cooling fans for efficient heat dissipation during extended use and twin power terminals for stable output. Moreover, the transceiver offers CW support with various features and optional IF filters for enhanced operations.
Equipped with advanced engineering and convenient features, the Kenwood TS-480HX/SAT stands out as a top choice for HF/50MHz all-mode transceivers. With high RF power output, separate power sources, and twin cooling fans for optimal performance, this transceiver ensures reliable operation even during extended use.
