The IC-PAC and IC-PAC-6 interface cables are essential components that facilitate the transmission of DC power and control signals between the radio and the autotuner. These cables are available in two variations: the IC-PAC-6 comes in long lengths, while the IC-PAC is available in shorter lengths.

These interface cables are compatible with a range of ICOM radios, including the IC-7000, IC-7200, IC-706, IC-707, IC-718, IC-725, IC-728, IC-736, IC-738, IC-746, IC-756, IC-765, and IC-775. It is important to note that this interface is designed to work seamlessly with any ICOM radio that supports the ICOM AH-3 or AH-4 Tuner.

Functionality-wise, users can quickly bypass the tuner by pressing the tune button on the radio. On the other hand, the tuning process can be initiated by pressing and holding the tune button on the radio or the tuner. Additionally, if this cable is utilized with the IC-718 radio, adjusting the tuner menu to "4" is crucial. It is worth mentioning that the LDG tuner and interface cable effectively mimic the functionality of the Icom-AH-4 tuner.
