The MFJ-1279X is a top-of-the-line sound card interface that surpasses the capabilities of the MFJ-1275 model. It boasts a Direct Keying Jack, enabling direct keying of your radio in CW or FSK operation for seamless communication.

Moreover, the MFJ-1279X is equipped with an Auxiliary Input Jack, allowing you to connect external devices like tape players or audio from camcorders or VCRs through the interface. This eliminates the hassle of repeatedly plugging and unplugging cables, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Additionally, the interface features a Headphone Jack for stereo headphones, automatically muting the external speaker when headphones are connected. It also supports a footswitch for Push-to-Talk functionality when VOX is not utilized, with the recommended MFJ-1709 footswitch. The package includes a CD, RS-232 cable, AC Adapter, and audio cables, with an 8-pin round mic port and compatibility with 220 VAC power supply.
