The MFJ-1788X is a versatile antenna designed for restricted-space locations. Its rugged, all-welded aluminium construction ensures durability and weatherproofing, making it a reliable choice for outdoor use. With no need for a separate control cable, the coaxial cable carries both the signal and DC control signals for tuning, allowing for quick and easy remote tuning to the ham bands in seconds.

The MFJ-1788X features a narrow bandwidth that reduces harmonic interference and provides excellent front-end receiver selectivity. Its vertical mounting configuration offers sound low-angle radiation for long-distance communication (DX) and high-angle radiation for local communication. This antenna eliminates the need for a ground, radials, counterpoise, or antenna tuner, simplifying the setup process for users.

The MFJ-1788X is supplied with a Remote Control that includes a built-in two-range cross-needle SWR/Wattmeter with auto band select mode. It offers convenient operation. With specifications including a loop size of 1m (36in), 50 Ohm feeder, 150W power handling, auto band selection, dual Fast/Slow tune buttons, and a built-in cross-needle SWR/Wattmeter, this antenna is a comprehensive solution for amateur radio enthusiasts.
