The MFJ-1792 is a high-performance vertical antenna designed for 80 and 40m bands. It utilizes end loading, which is known for its efficiency on 80m. The antenna features a 1.37m top capacitance hat and a high-Q coil. For 40m, it incorporates a full-size quarter-wave radiator. 

With a power rating of 1.5kW PEP SSB, the MFJ-1792 is capable of handling high power levels. It boasts a VSWR of 1.2:1 (typical) and a full band bandwidth of 2:1. The antenna's radiation angle is low, ensuring optimal signal propagation. 

The MFJ-1792 comes with automatic frequency selection and requires radials or ground for proper operation. It includes a heavy-duty mount and requires guying for stability. Standing at a height of 10m, this vertical antenna is a reliable choice for 80 and 40m bands.
