The loop`s preamplifier is phantom-powered through a coax, so no external wiring is needed for remote installations. Simply use the MFJ-4117 Bias-T and MFJ-1312D plug-in AC supply that come with the loop, or use any external 12-volt DC source for your portable setups. All you need is a 50-ohm feedline with PL-259 connectors to connect up the loop plus a short PL-259 jumper to connect your radio to the Bias-T. Everything else is included.
