By John A. Kuecken. This book has been written so that the subject can easily be unstood, it's ideal for engineers, technicians, radio hams and students. Mathematics has been limited to no more than elementary calculus and vector algebra. It covers basic antenna theory, wave interference, standing waves, collimators, lenses, apertures and simple radiators. It also deals with transmission lines, impedance matching, Smith Charts, waveguides, reactive elements, resonant circuits and Q. Thr final part of the book deals with self-impedance, balance, short and antifade antennas, frequency and ground-dependent antennas, half space, noise and radio-range protection.
