The MFJ-414, also known as the Classroom Morse Tutor, is a comprehensive black box with a two-line LCD readout. It serves as both a menu system for setting up the unit and a display for showing the code being sent. This versatile unit can key a transceiver, providing audio for training code to an FM transceiver. Additionally, it includes a separate keying output for CW transceivers. The MFJ-414 boasts a range of features, including a speed range of 3-60 WPM, 16 memory banks, a database with 500 words, a random and QSO generator, a built-in speaker, a headphone and key input socket, a 5-pin DIN socket for audio/PTT output, a printer port, and requires a 12V DC power supply at 300mA.
