The MFJ-762 attenuator is a versatile tool for various applications. With up to 81 dB attenuation in 1 dB steps, it allows you to accurately measure gain and loss, evaluate circuit linearity, and determine input and output level differences. It can also be used to isolate circuits, change unknown reactive loads and sources by known levels, and extend the range of sensitive measuring equipment.Â
The attenuator is precision built using surface mount and stripling technology, ensuring excellent performance up to 170 MHz and usability up to 500 MHz. It has a maximum input power of 250mW and features female BNC connectors. Additionally, it comes with two free BNC to SO-239 adapters and is housed in a sturdy, black all-metal custom cabinet measuring a compact 6.5Wx2.5Hx1.5D inches.Â
