The MFJ-931 is designed to generate an artificial ground by resonating a random length of wire placed along the floor. This device effectively simulates an earth ground for your rig, even when a physical ground connection is not feasible, such as on higher floors. It helps eliminate hot spots and RF interference caused by poor grounding.

With a frequency coverage range of 1.8 to 30MHz, the MFJ-931 is a versatile tool for reducing TVI/RFI issues. Its ability to resonate a random wire and create a tuned counterpoise makes it an essential component for ensuring optimal rig performance.
