Mfj-986 manual 3kw
The MFJ-986 tuner, designed by W5GZM, utilizes differential tuning for faster adjustments. It features a turn counter on the inductor for easier resetting. Additionally, it includes an antenna switch that can handle coax, balanced feed, and end-fed wires. The tuner operates within the frequency range of 1.8-30MHz, with a maximum power of 3kW. It offers a VSWR meter, PEP and average power readings, and power ranges of 0-200W and 0-2kW. The tuner has two coax positions, a dummy load position, and balanced feeder terminals. It can also match long wires and has a built-in 4:1 current balun. The meter is illuminated for visibility, and the tuner's dimensions are 278 x 375 x 115mm, with a weight of 4kg.
