RIGblaster West Mountain NOMIC Soundcard Interface (passive), USB. Latest Universal version supplied with both RJ45 and 8-pin round leads. The NOMIC version runs most of the programs available for the other models with the exception of ECHOLINK type programs. The main difference is that there is no provision for a microphone to be connected. The NOMIC is connected to the rig either by an RJ45 to RJ45, or 8-pin to RJ45 lead both of which are provided.
If 4-pin or other microphone connector is required then a separate lead such as the M4-CBL will have to be purchased. Remove the top cover of the NOMIC and connect 4 jumper wires to match your radio (drawings inside the the manual). The NOMIC has audio input and output sockets and is easily hooked up using the pair of 3.5mm audio stereo leads provided. Power for the NOMIC is obtained from the computer USB port .
