Second hand linear amp balanced spc supertuner
Second Hand LINEAR AMP Balanced SPC Supertuner, The SPC Supertuner is designed to handle high power either feeding coax or balanced line. The ATU has wide-spaced capacitors, silver-plated main inductor and large ceramic switch.
All these are heavy-duty components to handle powers up to 1500W.
The SPC Supertuner has an instant bypass mode that can be used with coax or a balanced feed with the balun left in circuit.
The balanced line is fed from a large double toroidal type transformer which is insulated with special fibre glass sleeving to reduce any chance of flash-over between windings.
The large VSWR/ Power meter reads 150W full scale on low and 1500W on the high position.
A 12V DC supply is required for the operation of the relays and also to illuminate the meter (supplied).
