Spiderbeam was founded in the year 2000 by DF4SA, sparked by his passion for highly competitive radio contesting during portable, outdoor operations, field days, DXpeditions, etc. Simple wire antennas are quite all right, but using them to do well in a contest is pretty hard.The spider beam is a full-size lightweight tri-bander yagi for 20-15-10m, made from fibreglass and wire.
