The VEC-554 Versa Load™ KW dummy load is a versatile fast-tuning tool. It allows you to run 1 KW CW or 2 KW PEP for 10 minutes, 1/2 KW CW or 1 KW PEP for 20 minutes, and continuous duty with 200 Watts CW or 400 W PEP. The dummy load comes with a derating curve and features a 50-ohm non-inductive resistor.

Equipped with a low VSWR up to 400 MHz, the VEC-554 Versa Load™ maintains excellent performance levels. It offers VSWR ratios of under 1.2:1 up to 30 MHz, 1.5:1 for 30-300 MHz, and 2:1 for 300 - 400 MHz. The dummy load is designed with a SO-239 connector and is vented for safety, with a removable vent cap and a convenient carrying handle. Measuring 7 ½" high by 6 ⅝" in diameter, it is a compact and efficient tool for various applications.
