The W3DZZ Dipole 80/40m Trapped Dipole Antenna offers a unique design with a vast L/C ratio, allowing for shortened outer wires on the 80m section while keeping the inner part for 40m unchanged. This configuration provides a total bandwidth of 40m but limits the bandwidth on 80m to approximately 110kHz at SWR < 1:2. This antenna is ideal for those with limited space who can accept good SWR only on a portion of the 80m band.

With a total length of 24.80m, the W3DZZ antenna maintains the same construction as the standard model. The optimal band centre SWR can be adjusted by modifying the size of the outer wire. The steel wire antenna has a clear plastic coating, ensuring durability and longevity. Supported bands for this antenna include 40m and 80m, catering to a wide range of amateur radio operators.
