Introducing the Widebander QRP Portable Antenna System, the latest innovation in rig-placed Wide-band antennas. This compact antenna offers impressive coverage from 1.8 to 432MHz, spanning a wide frequency range. With 12 fully tuneable positions, it provides 1.8 to 450 MHz coverage, ensuring optimal performance across various frequencies.
One of the Widebander's key features is its detachable whip, which can be used on the front BNC of an FT-817/IC705 or scanner for frequencies starting from 35 MHz and above. This versatility allows for easy customization and compatibility with different devices.
In addition to the supplied whip, users can use the tri-band whip with an FT-817, further expanding the antenna's capabilities. Furthermore, the Widebander comes with supplied BNC to twin 4mm adaptors, enabling users to connect a random length of wire and ground for enhanced flexibility.
With a power output of 10W PEP, the Widebander QRP Portable Antenna System offers both power and versatility in a compact design. Whether you're a seasoned ham radio operator or a beginner, this antenna system is a reliable and efficient choice for your portable communication needs.
