The introduction of the monobander series stems from the requirement to compliment the frequency range of the wonder wand widebander, with the proper impedance match to the transceiver.

Operation of the monobander series is quite simple. they are optimised for use at the lower part of the bands without a counterpoise promoting pedestrian mobile or portable use, Experimentation is the name of the game as results will vary with some form of ground system which will have the effect of lowering the frequency of the antenna slightly! For operation higher up the band just reduce the length of the telesopic by a section or so!
