The Yaesu SSM-64A VOX headset is a great complement to the VX-6. The headset may be switched from conventional PTT Push To Talk to VOX operation. The VOX sensitivity is adjustable (2 mVrms to 10 mVrms). The SSM-64A plugs in to the transceiver's MIC/SP jack. With 5.2 foot (1.6m) cord. 32 Ohm impedance, 30 mW audio output level. The required 2-10 VDC at 1.5 mA, is derived from the radio.
