The Airspy SpyVerter R2 is a high-performance HF upconverter designed to extend the frequency coverage of SDR receivers like the Airspy R2, Airspy Mini, and even RTL-SDR dongles. It allows you to receive HF signals (1 kHz to 60 MHz) by converting them into the VHF band (120–180 MHz), where most SDRs operate best2.

Switched Double-Balanced Mixer: Translates the entire HF spectrum to VHF with minimal distortion
Programmable PLL with 0.5 PPM VCTCXO: Ensures excellent frequency stability
Embedded Microcontroller: Manages PLL and voltage control, then enters deep sleep to avoid interference
RF Filtering: Low-pass filter with 75dB rejection at 65 MHz
IF Filtering: Band-pass filter between 120–180 MHz with 75dB rejection
Bias-Tee Compatible: Can be powered directly from SDRs like Airspy R2 or Mini
