The Second Hand MFJ-991B Dual Power Automatic Antenna Tuner is a versatile HF antenna tuner designed to automatically match a wide range of antennas to your transceiver across the 1.8–30 MHz amateur radio bands. The tuner features MFJ’s IntelliTuner technology which automatically adjusts inductance and capacitance to achieve an optimal match when transmitting.

The MFJ-991B provides two selectable power ranges, allowing operation at 300 W or 150 W depending on antenna impedance conditions. It can match antennas ranging from approximately 6–1600 Ω in the high-power mode or up to around 3200 Ω in the lower-power range, making it useful for a wide variety of HF antenna systems.

A cross-needle SWR and power meter on the front panel provides real-time indication of forward power, reflected power and SWR, enabling quick monitoring of station performance.

The MFJ-991B is particularly useful for operators running wire antennas, dipoles or non-resonant antennas where automatic matching improves efficiency and reduces SWR without manual tuning adjustments.
