Diamond HFV40 HF Rotary Dipole Antenna

The Diamond HFV40 is a compact rotary dipole for the 40m HF band, designed for operators who need full-size performance in limited space. Precision-engineered by Diamond, this shortened V-shaped dipole offers excellent mechanical quality and accurate alignment, allowing you to tune the antenna precisely to your preferred portion of the 40m band. As with all shortened antennas, the usable bandwidth is narrower, but the HFV40 delivers efficient radiation and reliable operation when correctly adjusted. Its small packing size and low weight make it an ideal choice for portable field days, holiday stations, and installations where the turning radius is restricted.

Without an external tuner, the HFV40 provides approximately 30 kHz of usable bandwidth on 40m, so retuning is required when changing operating frequency. The V-shaped configuration keeps the turning radius to a minimum, while the robust mast clamp and PL-type connector ensure a secure, dependable installation on a wide range of masts.
