The Diamond RH‑205 is a high‑performance 144 MHz (2 m) telescopic whip antenna designed for handheld radios requiring strong VHF performance and extended reach. With a fully extended length of 134 cm and a compact 23 cm retracted size , it delivers excellent signal capture while remaining highly portable.

This 10‑stage telescopic whip provides 5/8‑wave performance at full length and 1/4‑wave operation when retracted , giving users flexibility for both maximum gain and compact use. The BNC‑P connector ensures a secure, reliable fit on compatible handheld transceivers, while the 50 ohm impedance provides optimal matching for VHF communication .

Weighing just 90 g , the RH‑205 is ideal for field operation, SOTA, monitoring, and general 2 m band activity where extended whip performance is required.
