The "X" series marine antennas by Diamond are designed without radials to avoid interference with ropes on ships. These antennas are constructed with carefully selected metal parts that can withstand saltwater spray. The brass/chrome-plated mounting tube is permanently attached to the glass fiber tube, and the mounting brackets have a protective coating. All other hardware is made of stainless steel. These antennas are versatile and can also be used on land, offering a discreet stick antenna option without radials and enhanced resistance to environmental factors.

Key specifications of the "X" series antennas include a frequency range of 2m/70cm, a gain ranging from 4.5 dBi to 7.2 dBi, and a stacking capability of 6/8 λ. They feature a C-Load of 3x 5/8 λ and are equipped with a PL connector. With a maximum power of 100 W, a length of 2.0 m, and a maximum wind velocity tolerance of 200 Km/h, these antennas are designed to withstand various conditions. They can be mounted on mast diameters ranging from 30 to 62 mm.
