Yaesu FC-40 Automatic Antenna Tuner for FT-897/857/991/FTDX-101D
The Yaesu FC-40 Automatic Antenna Tuner Unit is a rugged, microprocessor-controlled ATU designed for seamless integration with Yaesu transceivers, including the FT-897, FT-857, FT-991, and FTDX-101D. It utilises the control circuitry built into these radios, enabling automatic tuning without the need for external interfaces.
Capable of matching a wide variety of antennas to within a 2:1 SWR across all amateur bands from 160m to 6m, the FC-40 typically completes tuning in under 10 seconds. It requires only 4–60W of transmitting power to initiate matching, and once tuned, it stores the settings in memory for instant recall when revisiting the same frequency range.
Housed in a weatherproof enclosure, the FC-40 is designed to be mounted close to the antenna feed point, ensuring optimal performance even in harsh outdoor conditions. Whether you're operating portable, mobile, or fixed station setups, the FC-40 delivers fast, reliable tuning with minimal effort—making it an essential upgrade for serious operators.
