The Hustler G6-270R Dual Band Base Antenna is a high-performance vertical antenna that combines the features of the well-known G6-144 and G6-440 models. It features a sleek, one-piece tapered fibreglass radome, which eliminates intermodulation and mechanical problems associated with multi-piece UHF radome designs. Made in the USA using high-quality American materials, the G6-270R offers 6 dBd gain (8.1 dBi) on both VHF and UHF bands, making it ideal for outstanding fringe area performance. The antenna is factory-tuned for quick and easy installation.

In terms of electrical specifications, the G6-270R has a gain of 6 dBd on both VHF and UHF bands. It has a bandwidth of 3 MHz for VHF and 10 MHz for UHF. The maximum power input is 100 watts. 

The antenna's design features a 4 x 5/8 wave collinear configuration for the 440 MHz band and a 5/8 over 5/8 collinear configuration for the 2-meter band. It uses a Type N Female connector. 

In terms of mechanical specifications, the G6-270R has a length of 102 inches and weighs 6 lb. It can withstand a maximum wind speed of 100 mph. The antenna includes hardware for mounting on masts up to 1.5" O.D. and can also be mounted on a 2" mast (U-bolts not included).
